The By-Laws for the Metropolitan Woman’s Club were written in 1971. Although revised over the years to meet the changing needs of the organization, the purposes of the club remain true to their original intent:
- To give scholarships to deserving individuals, to provide educational opportunities for members, and to contribute to charitable organizations in the community.
- The acceptance of civic responsibilities as they relate to the needs of the community.
- The fulfillment of the individual members socially, culturally, and intellectually.
